About Peter Smith, Sculptor
Peter Smith was born in Gloucester, England in 1936. He graduated in medicine in 1962 from Bristol University and arrived in Australia in 1964. He continued practicing as a doctor, at the same time he furthering his career as a sculpture. He worked mostly in bronze finishing his works with a chosen patina, and also used clay and concrete. He exhibited throughout the eastern states of Australia between 1984 and 1999.
