Born 1978 in Paddington Sydney, Australian Mark Hanham studied at National Art School then completed a Master’s Degree in Fine Art at the College of Fine Art. He has painted since he was fourteen years of age and is a successful commercial artist. In 2010 he opened a gallery in Sydney, exhibiting only his own works. He is especially known for his large scale streetscapes and iconic well known city overviews. Mark Hanham has travelled throughout Europe, gaining momentum for a Tuscan series and staging a solo show at Singapore and created bold expressive landscapes of major cities including Paris, Sydney, New York, London, Venice and Tokyo.
