Assemblage artist Anthony Galbraith was born in the Philippines in 1951 and studied at the National Art School in 1973 and 1974 and the Alice Mackie College of Advanced Education from 1975 to 1977. He also studied in the United States at the New York Studio School and the City Art Institute. He exhibited his assemblages in Sydney in solo and group exhibitions between 1980 to 1993 and at Heide in Melbourne in 1993. In 1991 he was the winner of the Mosman Art Prize.
