About Marguerite Annie Salle
Marguerite Annie Salle was born Ruakaka NZ 1903, An Anarchist, Surrealist and Modernist, she contributed to the Anarchist magazine "Arson" along with Andre Breton and de Chirico in 1942. In the 1930s she was famous in Europe for being "the most painted woman in the world" (5000 times), artist model and artist as having "the perfect Renaissance face"....She died in England in 1985.
Since 1970 we have recorded only one work being sold at auction by this artist, which was in 2015.
