Born in Australia Halhed moved to England and studied under Sidney Cooper in Canterbury and Louis Deschamps Paris. She was a member of the School of Seven Oaks and an Associate of Society of Women Artists from 1896.
Since 1970 we have recorded only one work being sold at auction by this artist, which was in 2001.
