Greg Lipman was born in 1938 in Sydney and received art tuition with a private teacher from 8 years of age. He then attended East Sydney Technical College Art school for 8 years. He is a traditional painter of landscapes and nostalgia in all mediums and is a member of the Australian Guild of Realist Artists. He has held solo and shared art exhibitions around Australia since his first show in 1985, including exhibitions with Pro Hart and Norman Lindsay; .
