Gloria Stern completed a Bachelor of Arts at Melbourne University in 1970, a Diploma of Graphic Design at Caulfield Institute of Technology in 1976, and a Diploma of Education at Melbourne State College in 1981. She also studied drawing and painting under the teacher and painter, Patrick Moss, for 10 years. Her first solo exhibition was in 1996 and since then she has held 12 solo exhibitions in Melbourne and the Sunshine Coast, as well as showing in numerous group shows. She has been a winner or finalist in regional art shows throughout the eastern states of Australia.
