Born in Sydney in 1944, Rhonda Hamlyn studied at the National Art School. For 10 years in the early 1980s, she collaborated with her mother Susannah (Beatrice) Hamlyn making layered, densely embroidered patterned rugs, and later also wall hangings, Also a figurative painter, she exhibited in joint shows at Watters Gallery in Sydney from 1965.
