About John Emil Sterchele
Born in Italy in 1946, Sterchele studied watercolour painting in Italy, and on his arrival in Australia in 1960, continued his studies in Melbourne. A contemporary painter who also uses gouache, acrylic, mixed media and monoprints, Sterchele has travelled and exhibited widely.
