About Heather Francis
Born in Dunedin in 1925, Heather Francis (nee McFarlane) began to paint after marriage, She was married to a New Zealand diplomat who was New Zealand High Commissioner to Australia and based in Canberra. Her watercolours were of landscapes in Australia and New Zealand and still lifes. She returned to New Zealand in 1985.
