Sculptor and miniaturist May Butler-George exhibited in Sydney and Melbourne from 1910 to the 1930's. She was appointed an official war artist for World War I. Her bronze relief panels at Mont St Quentin monument in France commerate the 2nd division of the AIF in World War I.
