Born in Adelaide in 1928, Joy Redman studied at the South Australian School of Arts. A traditional painter and printmaker, she exhibited her work in solo shows in Adelaide from 1977. Redman was also an art therapist. She won the Kiwanis Printmaking and Painting Award several times.
