About George Hatsatouris
Born in Sydney in 1947, George Hatsatouris studied at East Sydney Technical College, and later in Florence at the Academie delle Belle Arti and in London at the Chelsea art School in 1973. His first solo show was in Sydney in 1974 and he has continued exhibiting regularly there. He also exhibited in Dallas, USA. He has had a number of private commissions for murals including Lennon's Hotel, Brisbane.
We have records of art auction sales by George Hatsatouris from 1981 and in total 34 works by the artist have been offered for sale, of which 25 (74%) were sold. The highest price recorded for the artist is $1,560 for (Untitled) 1986 sold by Bay East Auctions in May 2012. No works have been offered for sale this year, and the last sale we have recorded for the artist was in 2023.
