About Leslie Albert Edward (Bill) Sands
Born in Williamstown, Victoria on 7 June 1917, Bill Sands is a self-taught traditional style painter of landscapes and seascapes, working in oil and active from the 1950s to the 1980s. He has exhibited throughout the eastern states.
