Born in Cornwall, England Rachel Newling studied in London prior to her arrival in Australia in 1982. She is a printmaker, producing woodcuts and linocuts featuring Australian birds, flowers, landscape and wildlife. She has held over 20 solo exhibitions since 1992 in Sydney, Brisbane and Darwin and participated in more than 15 group shows. She lives and works in Palm Beach, Sydney.
