About Thomas Louden Drummond
Born in Sri Lanka in 1850, Thomas Drummond was brought up in Scotland. He arrived in Auckland in 1872. A self taught artist, he exhibited widely throughout New Zealand until his death in 1926.
We have records of art auction sales by Thomas Drummond from 1993 and in total 12 works by the artist have been offered for sale, of which 8 (67%) were sold. The highest price recorded for the artist is $2,895 for Ocean Beach, Whangarei Heads sold by Webb's in September 1997.
