Muriel Medworth was born in England in 1903 and arrived in Australia in 1939. Principally a watercolourist, her work is represented in the Art Gallery of Western Australia. Muriel Medworth was a member of the Contemporary Art Group and the Australian Watercolour Institute. In 1953 she won the Mosman Art Award. She was the wife of artist Frank Medworth (1892 - 1947).
