About Patrick Kilvington
Born in England in 1922, and after serving for 8 years in the British Army, Kilvington studied at the Bromley School of Art in Kent and moved to Australia in 1950. Principally an impressionist painter of bush and horse subjects, he commenced painting full time in 1971, the year he held his first exhibition which was in Rockhampton. Following that, he showed in over 35 solo and group exhibitions in Australia and New Zealand.
