Peter Morath was born in Wirral, Cheshire, England and came to New Zealand in 1971. He studied at Liverpool College of Art and was a lithographic artist in the printing industry for many years. He has exhibited in both New Zealand and Britain and his work has been extensively reproduced as art prints.
