About Georgiana Lowe
A watercolourist, Georgiana Lowe arrived in Australia in 1842 with her husband, Robert Lowe, a politician. She became a member of the NSW Legislative Council and was later Viscount Sherbrooke. Her best known work is a set of watercolours Album of Watercolour Scenes in New South Wales 1847 - 1850. Her work is represented in the Mitchell Library.
