About Peter Bousfield
A watercolourist active from c1901-37, Peter Bousfield studied with M. J. MacNally and Will Ashton. He was a member of the Australian Watercolour Insitute and the Royal Art Society of NSW. He travelled extensively from 1906 to 1938 painting in Australia, New Zealand, England, Europe, Africa, the United States, Canada as well as many other countries. There are records of 10 joint or solo exhibitions, all in Sydney with the first in 1926.
