Born in South Australia in 1933, Margaret Wills studied at the South Australian School of Art in Adelaide and in Sydney with private tutors. She is a Fellow of the Royal Art Society, Sydney, and a Foundation Member of the Miniature Art Society. A traditional style painter, she has exhibited in Sydney and suburbs, and in Canberra. regularly.
