Born in Sydney in 1952, Suzie Marston studied at the University of Wollongong, and has been a lecturer in at secondary and tertiary level. A modern painter, she has held over 20 solo shows since 1982. Marston was co-winner of the Blake Prize in 1982 and was awarded a residency at the Cite des Internationale Des Arts, Paris in 1984.
