Born in New South Wales in 1888, Duncan Goldfinch was a self taught landscape painter working in the 1940s-60s. He studied painting throughout Europe, and produced several watercolours of the English & French countryside. In Australia, he travelled deep into Central Australia, where he painted Aboriginal landmarks such as Uluru and The OIgas. He exhibited at the Royal South Australian Society of Arts where he was to become President.
