Born in England in 1951, Richard Chamerski trained as a commercial artist and began painting full time in 1978. A painter of traditional Impressionist landscapes and seascapes with his work showing the influence of Rubery Bennett, his first solo show was in Melbourne in 1983. He has since exhibited in Melbourne, Sydney and the Gold Coast.
