Born in 1972 Del Barton studied at College of Fine Arts Sydney. With her psychedelic style, she has won the Art Gallery of New South Wales Archibald Prize in 2008 and 2013, and in 2015 created an animated adaptation of Oscar Wilde’s work The Nightingale and the Rose in 2015. She lives and works in Sydney.
