About James Corbett
James Corbett describes himself as a "car parts sculptor" and has beeen creating assemblage sculptures since 1999. Formerly the proprietor of a specialist motor wrecking business in Brisbane he transitioned into the art world after being inspired by the artistic creation of one of his customers. He held his first exhibition in Brisbane in 1999 and since then has held numerous exhibitions, showings and commissions including three years as guest artist at the Brisbane International Motor Show.
