A new visual arts magazine presents exclusive contributions by some of Australia’s most respected art professionals. A new visual arts magazine presents exclusive contributions by some of Australia’s most respected art professionals. The topics range from critical reviews of art fairs and exhibitions, auction updates, noteworthy shows and important art collections to new appointments in the art industry and current projects.

CANVASS is published quarterly by the ACAA. The first issue contains reviews on the Venice Biennale and Sydney Contemporary 13, a major article on American collectors of Aboriginal art, current member projects, tips on interesting exhibitions and even a crossword.

The ACAA was founded in 2006 in the belief that establishing and maintaining ethical standards is fundamental to the growth and success of art consulting in Australia.

The 36 ACAA members provide a wide range of specialised art services, including art valuations, advisory services, collections management, curatorial services and research as well as arts writing.

They are bound by ACAA’s strict code of conduct to provide best practice art consulting.
