Born in Christchurch in 1937, Pauline Rhodes is a sculptor, who works in various medium including bronze, stone and terracotta, and undertakes outdoor installations and projects. She has lived and worked in Nigeria learning brass casting, and in England working in stone and wood. On her return to New Zealand she studied at the University of Canterbury School of Fine arts from 1972-74.
