About John Davis
Born in Ballarat in 1936 John Davis studied at Melbourne Teachers College and Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology. A teacher and sculptor he exhibited widely throiughout Australia and is represented in several state and provincial collections.
The earliest auction listing we have for John Davis is in 1996 and in total 18 works by the artist have been offered for sale, of which 17 (94%) were sold. The highest price recorded for the artist is $3,172 for Lake Mournpoul III sold by Mossgreen Auctions in May 2014. No works have been offered for sale this year, and the last sale we have recorded for the artist was in 2019.
