Born in Auckland in 1964, Jenny Dolezel studied at Elam School of Fine Arts and graduated with Bachelor of Fine Arts in 1987. A painter, printmaker and teacher. Dolezel she has had 23 solo exhibitions throughout New Zealand and also at the Fresno Art Museum in California. She has particpated in 43 group exhibitions in New Zealand as well as a number of international group exhibitions. Jenny Dolezel was awarded the James Wallace Art Award 1996 and the Royal Overseas League Art Award in London as well as several artist residency programs including the Fresno Art Museum in California, and the Goethe Institute Scholarship in Berlin.
