Born in Sydney in 1960, Narelle Jubelin is a painter, weaver and designer. She studied at the Alexander Mackie College in Sydney and a Graduate Diploma in Professional Art Studies from the University of New South Wales College of Fine Art. An embroiderer, her artworks "deal with the reduction of architectural paintings and photographs to miniature petit point works". She represented Australia at the 1990 Venice Biennale. She has lived and practiced in Madrid since 1996.
