Born in 1953, Paul Hartigan is a New Zealand painter, printmaker and sculptor who works with vinyl, enamle paint neon lighting, photography and digital imagery. Born in New Plymouth, he studied at Elam School of fine Arts in the 1970s and in Melbourne. He has exhibited in New Zealand and Australia since the 1970s. He was a finalist in the Wallace Art Awards in 2005 and 2014.
